Josephine Marie Cangemi, age 87 of Lake Milton passed away peacefully on Saturday Sept. 27, 2014 at Omni Manor Nursing Home in Austintown. She was born on February 21, 1927 in Warren, OH the daughter of Frank & Marie (Cirillo) Fabrizio. Josephine married Charles Carl Cangemi, on Nov. 20, 1953 and they enjoyed 30 years of marriage together before he passed away on May 15, 1984. She had lived in Lake Milton since 1956 formerly of the Warren. OH. Josephine graduated from Warren G. Harding High School Class of 1945. Josephine & her husband Charles were the owners & operators of Cangemi's Restaurant in Newton Falls from 1960 to 1987. She enjoyed making great pies, and being known as a grandma to many children that were not her own. Josephine is survived by: 2 sons: Charles Cangemi of Lake Milton, Frank Cangemi of Lake Milton, 1 daughter: Lori & Tim Burns of Newton Falls; and 1 sister: Nancy Talbow in Chandler, AZ. Josephine was preceded in death by her parents, and 1 brother Frank Fabrizio. Funeral Services will be held at the James Funeral Home in Newton Falls on Wednesday Oct. 1, 2014 at 12:00pm with Father David Merzweiler officiating the service. Calling hours will be two hours prior to service time from 10:00am - 12:00pm. Josephine will be laid to rest next to her husband Charles at Vaughn Cemetery in Lake Milton.
