Judy A. Collins age 71 of Nelson Twp. passed away on the family farm where four generations have lived, with her family by her side. She was born June 8, 1941 in Warren, OH the daughter of the late Russell George Kuntz and Iva Pearl (Hoffaker) Kuntz. Mrs Collins has lived in Nelson Twp since 1962 formerly of Newton Falls. She married her loving husband Austin I. Collins on Aug 4, 1962 and he passed away on February 16, 2004 also at the family farm. When Judy was young she worked at Ohio Lamp for several years then at Pikes Turkey Farm for 5 years and then at Stone Wall Veterinary Hospital in Garrettsville. Judy loved gardening, cooking , canning and crocheting. But most of all she loved her grandchildren. Memories of Judy will be carried on by her daughter and her husband Sherry and Tom Wise of Nelson, her sons and there wife's Ray and Annette Collins of Nelson Twp, OH and Brian and Sandra Collins of Nelson Twp, OH a grand son Austin Wise and a granddaughter Stacy Collins. She also leaves behind her faithful dog and companion Bear. Judy was preceded in death by her parents her husband Austin, and 1 infant daughter. Funeral Services will be held at the James Funeral Home in Newton Falls on Tuesday October 2, 2012 at 10:00 AM where friends may call on Monday Oct 1, 2012 from 6 to 8PM. Judy will be laid to rest next to her husband Austin at Harrington Cemetery in Nelson Twp.
