Julie Renea (Dutter) Rutherford age 49 of Braceville was welcomed home by her Lord & Savior Jesus Christ on Friday July 26, 2024. She was born on August 31, 1974 in Kalispell, Montana the daughter of Larry Leroy Dutter & Mary Jane (Miller) Dutter. Julie married the love of her life, James Lee Rutherford on August 21, 1993, and they have enjoyed 30 wonderful years of marriage together.

Julie loved spending time with her family and friends. She had a beautiful singing voice, enjoyed running, baking, and supporting her children in all their athletics and other activities. She attended North Mar Christian & Missionary Alliance Church in Warren, Ohio.

Julie is survived by her beloved husband James, children Jacob (Averi) Rutherford, Lauren (Jason) Perkins, and Justin, and soon to be daughter-in-law Hannah Gilligan. grandchildren, Hallie & Beckham Rutherford, Sophia & Jaxson Perkins, mother, Jane Dutter, in-laws, Deborah & Ferrell Rutherford, sisters, Robin Masters, Sarah (Rob) Griggy, Brothers-in-law, Joseph & John (Nicole) Rutherford & nieces & nephews, Joshua (Amanda) Masters, Emily (Dakota) Buckner, Gracie, Abigail, & Elijah Masters, Kevin, Tabatha, Logan, and Lanie Griggy, Madison, Johnny, and Rocco Rutherford, and Cassandra Pleacher. Julie was preceded in death by her father Larry Dutter and brother-in-law Brian Masters.

Julie will be remembered for her beautiful smile and unwavering faith. God gave her peace that surpassed all understanding and the words of Isaiah 43:1-3 provided her with comfort and encouragement through her battle with cancer.

Please join Julie's family for calling hours at the James Funeral Home in Newton Falls on Friday August 2, 2024 from 5:00 to 8:00pm.  Funeral services will be at the North Mar Christian & Missionary Alliance Church on Saturday August 3, 2024 at 11:00am with Pastor Myron Daum officiating her service. Julie will be laid to rest at Braceville Cemetery. The family has requested that all donations please be made to the North Mar Christian & Missionary Alliance Church 3855 East Market St. Warren, OH 44484 in her memory.
