Karen L. Gaskell age 75 of Newton Falls passed away peacefully into eternal rest on Friday, December 13, 2024 at her home after a battle with cancer. She was born on Jan. 18, 1949 in Big Springs, WV the daughter of the late James Everett Wilson and Hazel Delores (Plant) Wilson. Karen has lived in Newton Falls since 1967 formerly of Windham, OH where she attended Windham High School. She married the love of her life, Milton Dean Gaskell on July 21, 1967 and they have enjoyed the past 57 years of marriage together. Karen worked as a Salesman/ Grower at Nordlie's Cut Flower in Newton Falls for 32 years and retired in 2014. She loved cleaning her house, gardening, and reading. Karen is preceded in death by her parents, 1 daughter: Tanya Gaskell and 1 sister: Shelia Gibson.
She is survived by: her husband: Milton D. Gaskell of Newton Falls, 1 son: Gregory Gaskell of Pittsburgh, PA, 2 sisters: Anita & Joe Beccera of Middlefield, OH, Debra Roberto of Newton Falls, 3 brothers: Kent Wilson of Streetsboro, OH, Bob Wilson of Floral City, FL, Jeff Anderson of Five Forks, WV, and 4 grandchildren: Steven, Alicia, Eric, and Ciarra.
Cremation has taken place and there will be no services.
