Kathleen A. Deluco age 78 of Newton Falls passed away peacefully into eternal rest on Tuesday Nov. 21, 2023 at her residence. She was born on April 25, 1949 in Youngstown, OH the daughter of the late Homer Shelton and Eleanor R. (Masternick) Shelton. Kathy had lived in Newton Falls for only a couple of years, formerly of Cuyahoga Falls, and Youngstown, OH.  She married Arthur J. Deluco on Sept. 15, 2001 and they enjoyed 19 years of marriage together until he passed away on April 23, 2020.  Kathy worked as a Nurse for over 40 years at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Youngstown, Akron General Hospital, and Summa Health System in Akron, OH.  Kathy loved needlepoint, knitting, recipes, and decorating the house for Christmas. She is preceded in death by her parents, and 1 brother Joe Shelton.

Kathy is survived by: 1 daughter: Nora & Jonathan Fortner of Norfolk, VA, 1 son: Paul & Jennifer Shelton of Amanda, OH, 1 brother: John Shelton of Cleveland, OH, and 2 grandchildren.

Cremation has taken place, and there will be no services.
