Kathleen Wilson age 75 of Newton Falls passed away peacefully into eternal rest on Sunday Oct 27, 2024 at her residence.  She was born on Feb. 15, 1949 in Indiana, PA the daughter of the late Emery Prokay Jr. and Anna Pauline (Fryer) Prokay.  Kathleen graduated from John F. Kennedy High School in the Class of 1967.  After high school, she attended Kent State University and graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration.  She married the love of her life and best friend, Scott R. Wilson Jr. on Feb 14, 1981 and they have enjoyed the past 43 years of marriage together.  Kathleen worked as a Line Worker and Payroll Clerk at GE Ohio Lamp in Warren for 38 years retiring in 2005.  She enjoyed going RVing, crocheting, baking, cooking, camping, fishing on Lake Erie, watching the grandkids play fast pitch softball, and spending time with the family.  Kathleen is preceded in death by her parents, 1 son: Dion Jenkins, and 3 sisters: Anna Louise Gregory, Frances Prokay, and Janice Orr.

She is survived by: her husband: Scott R. Wilson Jr. of Newton Falls, 1 daughter: Traci Jenkins of Howland, 1 step son: Scott & Ramona Wilson III of Newton Falls, 1 step daughter: Nicole & Edward Prusky of Newton Falls, 2 sisters: Karen Gross of Newton Falls, Ellen Richter of Newton Falls, 1 brother: Emery Prokay of Warren, 4 grandchildren: Scott, Michelle, Matthew, Heather, 5 great grandchildren: Karlee, Allie, Olivia, Penelope, Alice, and her beloved dog: Brandi.

Funeral services will be at the James Funeral Home in Newton Falls on Friday Nov. 1, 2024 at 1:00pm with Rev. Steve Spurlock officiating.  Calling hours will be from 11:00am - 1:00pm.  Cremation will follow the service. She will be laid to rest at Newton Falls Cemetery.
