Kay Frances (Justice) Monroe age 79 of Fort Wayne, IN passed away peacefully with her daughter Jerrilyn and grandchildren Nicolas & Katelyn by her side on Tuesday Feb. 11, 2025 at Story Point Assisted Living in Fort Wayne, IN.  She was born on Oct. 30, 1945 the daughter of the late Clyde Justice and Geraldine (Chamberlin) Justice.  Kay married Ed Monroe on July 2, 1999 and they enjoyed 21 years of marriage together until Ed passed away on Nov. 5, 2020.  When her children were younger, she was a devoted mother and housewife.  After the kids left, she worked as an Accounts Receivables/ Accounts Payable Manager at Things Remembered in North Jackson retiring after 15 years of service.  Kay loved shopping, going on vacations, and watching her grandchildren play and grow up.  She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Ed Monroe, 1 sister: Gladys Justice Matthews, and 1 niece: Karen Matthews Davis.

Kay is survived by: 2 daughters: Jerrilyn Stocker of Fort Wayne, IN, Jennifer Flores of Yemassee, SC, 1 son: Jon Stocker of Lordstown, OH, 1 great niece: Chrissy & Sean Gaskill of Champion, OH, 1 cousin: Robert & Linda Chamberlin of FL, and 6 grandchildren: Nicolas, Katelyn, Jason, Ethan, Estefan, and Colton.

Funeral services will be at the James Funeral Home in Newton Falls on Thursday Feb 20, 2025 at 12:00pm with Rev. Norman Witthuhn officiating.  Calling hours will be one hour prior from 11:00am- 12:00pm. She will be laid to rest at Pineview Memorial Park in Warren Ohio.
