Kevin J. Brooks, 35, of Newton falls passed away on Friday, June 19, 2026 at his home. He was born in Youngstown on December 9, 1990; the son of Darren M. Guerrero and Kelly Brooks.

A lifetime area resident, Kevin attended Newton Falls Schools and worked as Laborer for various companies. He enjoyed fishing.

He is survived by his mother, Kelly; his grandmother Carol Guerrero who raised him and where he made his home; a son, Emmett Nickles; two sisters , Miranda Fisher and Kristen Bright; two brothers; Daren Wilson and Jeremy Guerrero; uncles Keith Allen and Brian Thomas; aunts Marsha Allen and Michelle Enderton; his maternal grandmother, Sandra Tuttle; nieces, Hailey Bright and Alayna Weddle, a nephew, Lucas Kostelic and many other aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his father, Darren, His grandfather, Ramon who helped raise him and a cousin, Daniel.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Cremation has taken place.
