Kevin Michael Hickman, age 45 of Newton Falls passed away Sunday, November 27, 2017 at University Hospital in Cleveland after injuries sustained from a fall. He was born on August 24, 1972 in Warren, OH the son of Walter Gary Hickman and Diana Jean Hartley. Kevin was a 1990 graduate of Newton Falls High School. He then went on to get his Bachelors Degree in Computer Programming from Kent State University. He has been employed since 1999 at the Cadle Company as a computer programmer/analyst/ technician. Kevin married the former Clare L. Vrabac on May 2, 2009. Kevin and Clare have been blessed with 8 years of wonderful marriage. Kevin was a member of Greater Life Church in Boardman and very active in ministry. He was a Sunday School youth teacher for various churches. He was a devoted Christian man that led a lot of people to Christ. He was a giving man and always made time for anyone that needed him. Loving memories of Kevin will be carried on by his wife, Clare L. Hickman of Newton Falls, his father & stepmother Walter G. (Shain) Hickman of Newton Falls, his mother & stepfather Diana J. (Robert) Smith of Niles, daughters; Ashley Mines of Warren, Alexis Mines of Warren, sons; Zachary (Katelyn) Hickman of Niles, Kevin A. Hickman of Niles, brother Lonnie (Pranee) Hickman of Tallmadge, grandchildren; Skylar Mines, Lillian Rose Hickman and Kirstyn Mines who he was raising, mother-in-law, Ida Vrabac of Newton Falls and his loving dog and companion Milo. Calling hours will be held on Sunday, December 3, 2017 from 3:00 - 5:00 pm at James Funeral Home in Newton Falls. Funeral services will be held on Monday at 11:00 am at the funeral home. Cremation will follow. The family has requested that contributions may be made to the Greater Life Church, PO Box 3122, Boardman, OH 44512 in Kevin's memory.
