Larry Gene Tyson, 72 of Lordstown entered into eternal rest on Friday, December 20, 2013 at his residence. Larry was born on October 9, 1941 in Rawson, OH the son of Clyde & Capitola (Tooley) Tyson. He has lived in Lordstown for the past 13 years, fomerly of North Jackson. Larry married the former Paula Marie Wright on August 14, 1974. They were blessed with 39 years of marriage. Larry was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps. Larry retired in 1994 as a purchasing agent with Henn Workshop. He was a member of the American Legion Lake Milton Post 699 and the VFW. He loved to travel and his favorite destination was visiting Gettysburg. Loving memories of Larry will be carried on by his wife, Paula Tyson of Lordstown, daughter, Lisa J. (Mark) Jeffries of Hawking Hills, OH, sons, Steven (Vicki) Tyson of Castaic, CA, Gregory (Nicole) Tyson of Austintown, Tye (Clarissa) Tyson of Poland, sisters, Nancy (Fred) Blankenship of Findley, Linda Myers of Lexington, KY and his loving grandchildren, Samantha, Brandi, Megan, Jenna, Troy, Lara, Brody and Alyse. Per Larry's wishes, cremation has taken place. Private services will be held at his home at a later date.
