Lawrence "Larry" Lee. Hinzman, 81 of Paris Township passed at 9;34am on November 10, 2023 at his residence. He was born in Fairmont, West Viriginia on February 10, 1942; the son of the late Lawrence Clyde "L.C." and Arma (Vincent) Hinzman.

A lifetime area resident, Larry was of Methodist faith and enjoyed deer hunting, NASCAR; his favorite driver was Bill Elliot or any driver that raced a Ford. Larry retired after 40 years at the former WCI Steel in Warren. On March 9, 1968, Larry married his wife,  the former Sheila Stocker. Together they shared 55 years of marriage.

Larry is survived by his wife Sheila; daughters Vickie Hinzman of Paris Township and Leann Mercer of Andover; four sisters; Colleen (Larry) Dezort of Paris Township, Marcella Ash of Garrettsville, Marsha (Richard) Dean of Windham and Debbie (Darwin) Friend of Ravenna and one brother, Randy (Bonnie) Hinzman of West Union, West Virginia.; five grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters; Melva and Karen and his four brothers; Dale, Allan, Denver and Delvin Hinzman.

Funeral services will held at 11am of Friday, November 17th, 2023 at James Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service time. Following the services at the funeral home, Larry will be cremated.
