Lenora Maywood Polly, age 91 of Lordstown entered into eternal rest on Friday, April 29, 2016 at Vista Care at the Ridge. Lenora was born on April 24, 1925 in Neon, KY the daughter of the late Guy & Callie (Banks) Holbrook. She has lived in Lordstown since 1960, formerly of Windham. Lenora married Russell Polly on March 16, 1948. Lenora and Russell were blessed with 40 years of wonderful marriage before his passing on February 2, 1989. Lenora was a member of the General Assembly Church of God in Newton Falls where she belonged to the Ladies Auxillary. Lenora enjoyed traveling. Loving memories of Lenora will be carried on by her daughter-in-law, Earnestine Polly of Lordstown, sister, Patricia Hall of Neon, KY, grandson, Roger M. Polly and great grandsons, Ryan Polly and Christopher Messer. Lenora was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sons, Mack Polly, Roger Polly, brother, Burnett Holbrook, sister, Mary Parrish and her granddaughter, Lisa Polly. Calling hours will be held on Monday, May 2, 2016 from 12:00 - 1:00 pm at James Funeral Home with funeral services immediately following at 1:00 pm. Lenora will then be taken to Everidge Funeral Home, 65 Main Street, Whitesburg, KY 41858. Calling hours will be held at the Everidge Funeral Home on Thursday, May 5, 2016 from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm. Funeral services will immediately follow at 1:00 pm. Lenora will be laid to rest at Guy Holbrook Cemetery in Neon, KY.
