Lois M. Biggard, age 72 of Newton Falls entered into eternal rest on Sunday July 11, 2010 at St. Joseph's Health Center. Lois was born in Hartford on March 23, 1938 the daughter of the late Carl J. & Irma M. (Pearson) Chilson. She has lived in Newton Falls for 48 years, formerly of Hartford. While still living in Hartford, she married Charles Lewis Biggard on September 30, 1961. They have been married for 48 years. Lois retired in 2003 after 31 years as a bookkeeper with Second National Bank. She was a member of Berlin Center Methodist Church. Lois enjoyed gardening and took pride in taking care of her home. Memories of Lois will be carried on by her husband, Charles Biggard of Newton Falls, daughter & son-in-law, Diann & Robert Pyles of Newton Falls, son, Carl Biggard of Newton Falls, grandchildren, Ryan Pyles & Christopher Biggard of Newton Falls, and sister & brother-in-law, Sandy & Fred Sydlowski of Brookfield. Lois was preceeded in death by a grandson, Christopher Biggard, sisters, Shirley Trumbull and Jean Chilson. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday July 14, 2010 from 4:00-7:00 pm at James Funeral Home where the funeral service will immediately follow at 7:00 pm. Rev. Russell Libb will be officiating.
