Lorne Wayne DeYoung, 57 of Southington passed away at 2:54am, Monday, December 25, 2023 at University Hospitals in Cleveland. He was born on April 27, 1966 in Ravenna; the son of the late Kenneth Wayne and Mary Therese (Laczko) DeYoung.

Lorne graduated high school in 1984 from Crestwood and attended Maplewood JVS. He worked as a production manager for Catacell for 17 years. He was of Methodist faith and belonged to the A.B.A.T.E of Ohio.He enjoyed boating, Captain America and fishing; especially with his grandson, James, who was his everything.

Lorne is survived by his wife, Debra (Noe) Spisak; a daughter Rachel DeYoung of Garrettsville; a brother, Jason (Lisa) DeYoung of Mantua; his grandson James O'Hara Crofford II, two nieces and two nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral services for Lorne will be at James Funeral Home at 2:00pm on Saturday, December 30, 2023 with Pastor Jennifer Dorn officiating. The family will be receiving friends from 12pm until the time of the service. The family has asked that material contributions be made to the American Cancer Society, 540 Water Street, Suite 226, Chardon, Ohio 44024
