Obituary

Louise Elizabeth Hirsch, age 99, of Newton Falls passed away into eternal life on April 29, 2016 at St. Joseph's Eastland of natural causes. On May 24, 1926 in Tamaqua,PA, Claude Harry & Clara Sybilla (Arner) Hadesty were blessed with the birth of their daughter, Louise. She married the love of her life, William Haber Hirsch on November 9, 1940 and they enjoyed 60 years of marriage together. Louise had lived in Newton Falls since 1940 working at the Newton Falls Public Library in the circulation department for 14 1/2 years before retiring on July 1, 1978 . Louise enjoyed gardening, reading, traveling, crafting, needle pointing, embroidering, knitting and crocheting. She was a member of the First Congregational Church since 1949, where she was a Life Deacon. Louise was also a member of the Women's Fellowship and had served on the Missions Committee. She was a former member of the Braceville Garden Club, Child Conservation League of Newton Falls, and Friends of the Library. Louise was a volunteer for the Trumbull County Board of Elections, Red Cross blood drawing program, and the American Cancer Society. Memories of Louise will be carried on by her loving family: her daughter Janet L. Hirsch of Alliance; her nieces & nephews Jean (Hadesty) Kemery of Medina, Libby Klingaman, Charles & Cathy Klingaman, Wayne & Terri Klingaman all of Tamaque and Janeen & Robert Konnyu of Melbourne, FL. Louise was preceeded in death by her parents, her husband, her brother Arthur T. Hadesty, and her sister Eleanor Zellner. The family asks that all memorial contributions be made in the form of donations to the First Congregational Church or the Newton Falls Public Library. Per Louise's wishes, cremation has taken place and she will be laid to rest in Odd Fellows Cemetery in Tamaqua, PA.
