Lucille Louise Goynes, age 92 of Lake Milton passed away peacefully into eternal rest on Sunday April 30, 2023 at the Windsor House at Omni Manor in Youngstown, OH.  She was born on July 26, 1930 in Diamond, OH the daughter of the late Gaily Sickle and Mary Elizabeth (Thompson) Sickle.  Lucille married the love of her life George Robert Goynes on July 30, 1950 and they have enjoyed 72 years of marriage together.  She has lived in Lake Milton her entire life and worked at Packard Electric in Warren as an Assembler for 4 years.   Lucille then became a housewife raising there two children Terry & Deborah.  She is preceded in death by her parents, her daughter Deborah Champion, 5 sisters: Betty, Doris, Etta, Mildred, Audrey, and 2 brothers: Don & Glenn Sickle.

She is survived by: her husband, George; son,Terry (Julie) Goynes of Austintown, OH, seven grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren and one great great granddaughter.

Calling hours will be at the James Funeral Home in Newton Falls on  Friday, May 5, 2023 from 10:00am- 12:00pm with funeral services to follow at 12:00pm with Pastor Jennifer Dorn officiating.  Lucille will be laid to rest at Palmyra West Cemetery in Diamond, OH.
