Lucinda C. Cottrell, age 50 of Windham entered into eternal rest on Sunday, February 5, 2017 at University Hospital Portage Medical Center after a long battle with lung cancer. She was born on May 6, 1966 in Ravenna the daughter of the late John Richard & Judith Carol (Whipkey) Cottrell. Lucinda had lived in Windham all her life. She was a social member of the VFW in Newton Falls and the American Legion in Windham. Lucinda loved spending time with her grandchildren. Memories of Lucinda will be carried on by her loving family; her life long companion Erik Gibson of Windham; her 2 daughters Brandy Gibson of Newton Falls, Amber Gibson of Windham; her son Derik Gibson of Windham; her 2 sisters Tina Cottrell of Newton Falls, Melissa Hatcher of Middlefield; her brother Rick Cottrell of Gassaway,WV; and 5 grandchildren. Per Lucinda's wishes cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, May 6, 2017 from 1:00 to 4:00PM at the VFW in Newton Falls.
