Marian Louise Magargle, 84 of Paris Twp., entered into eternal rest on Thursday, January 22, 2015 with her loving family by her side. Marian was born the only child of Walter and Billie Sibbrell on May 3, 1930, in Ballville Township, Ohio. Marian graduated from Fremont Ross High School in 1948. Marian took great pride in being a homemaker and raising her family. She was a member of the 1st Congregational Church in Newton Falls, Pythian Sisters, Cresendo Club and Athletic Mothers. Marian enjoyed reading, crocheting afghans, and spending time with her family. She will be dearly missed by her husband of 60 years, Alfred Stanley Magargle, whom she married on December 31, 1954 and her eight children, Barbara (Thomas Glenn) Brown of Newton Falls, Gary (Thelma) Humberger of Newton Falls, Amy (Ron) Hartman of Garrettsville, Judy (Tom Thompson) Magargle of Wild Rose, Wisconsin, Jeffrey (Julia) Magargle of McKinney, Texas, Tim (Cindy) Magargle of Knoxville, Tennessee, Sara (Theodore) Tomko of New Boston, Ohio, and Dennis (Susan) Magargle of Maryville, Tennessee, 30 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren, sister-in-laws Lois Magargle of Fremont, Ohio and Betty Magargle of Muncy, Pennsylvania , brother-in-law Larry (Patty) Magargle of Muncy, Pennsylvania, and close friends Donna Swigert and Sharon Pillow. Marian was preceded in death by her parents and her first husband, Howard Humberger. Calling hours will be held on Saturday, January 24, 2015 from 3:00 - 5:00 pm at James Funeral Home in Newton Falls. The funeral service will immediately follow at 5:00 pm.
