Marjorie S. Barber age 76 formerly of Garrettsville passed away peacefully into eternal rest on Wednesday Dec. 13, 2023 at the Woodlands at Robinson Nursing Home in Ravenna.  She was born on Sept. 11, 1947 in Warren, OH the daughter of the late Thomas Leslie McDonald and Marvina Evelyn (Jones) McDonald.  Marjorie has lived most of her adult life in Garrettsville, formerly of Niles, Warren and Newton Falls, OH.  She graduated from Niles McKinley High School in the Class of 1965.  Marjorie married the loved of her life, Charles Barber in 1966 and they enjoyed 38 years of marriage together until his death in 2006. Marjorie and her late husband owned and operated their own trucking company CMT trucking where they enjoyed traveling as a family with their son Tommy in the 90s. She worked at Mantaline Corp in Mantua, OH as a production operator for 20 years and retired just recently. Marjorie loved reading romance novels, her pets, spending time with her grandchildren, watching TV and shopping.  She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Charles, 1 son: Thomas McDonald, and 1 sister: Patricia McDonald.

Marjorie is survived by: 1 daughter: Traci Barber of Warren, 1 step son: Charles S. Barber of Liberty, OH, 1 sister: JoAnn Haggarty of Kansas City, MO, 5 granddaughters: Leslie McDonald, Alisha Harris, Chyenne Barber, Morgan Ravotti, Jaden Ravotti, and numerous other grandchildren and great grandchildren, and her work family from Mantaline.

Cremation has taken place, and there will be no services.  A celebration of life will follow at a later date.
