Marlene Faye Ansell, age 77, of Newton Falls passed away from this life on May 29, 2018 at Vista at the Ridge of natural causes.

Marlene was born May 1, 1941 in Hopwood, PA, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Hazel (Witt) Ansell.

Marlene was a graduate from Kent State University and earned an M.A. degree from John Carroll University. She taught in the Cleveland City School System for several years, and later started a second career in administration in the medical field in Tampa, FL.

Marlene was never married and lived a full life here in Ohio and also in Tampa, FL. She had the most amazing friends and support group throughout her life. She had a love of animals, golfing, bike riding, and spending quality time with her friends. Marlene was a congregant of MCC of Tampa and a welcomed visitor to Faith Family UCC. She was loved by all and will be greatly missed.

Memories of Marlene will be carried on by her loving family; her brothers, Paul of Aliquippa, PA, Edgar of Charlottesville, VA and Harrison (Ted) of Hopwood, PA; her sister Lois Reed of Newton Falls, her 6 nieces, 2 nephews, her 3 great nieces and 4 great nephews, and one great great niece.

Graveside services will be held at Normalville Cemetery in Normalville,PA at a later date.
