Marsha Jean Moss died peacefully surrounded by her family on October 10 after a courageous battle with cancer. She was 56. Marsha was a loving daughter, sister, aunt and friend whose generosity of spirit found expression in everything she did, with every person she knew. She was born in Warren on November 3, 1959 and lived her entire life in Champion. After graduating from Champion High School in 1979, Marsha worked as a babysitter. She worked nearly 20 years as a clerk and assistant manager at the Goodwill Store on Elm Road. She later worked at Olin Mills and as a teacher's aide in Trumbull County. Marsha was a member of the First Church of God in Newton Falls, and a devoted fan, in rank order, of the Ohio State Buckeyes, the Cleveland Indians and the Miami Dolphins. She enjoyed playing dominoes. Marsha is survived by her loving parents, Charles and Frances Moss of Champion, her sister Sandy (Rev. Gary) Bryan of Lake, MI, her brother Gary (Donna) Moss of Apex, North Carolina and two nephews, Adam Bryan of St. Albans, West Virginia, and Griffin Moss of Raleigh, North Carolina. Marsha was preceded in death by her niece, Ashley Bryan. Calling hours will be held on Friday, October 14 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at James Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 10 a.m. at the First Church of God, 426 W. Broad St., Newton Falls. Marsha will be laid to rest at Champion Township Cemetery. The family has requested that contributions may be made to the First Church of God, 426 W. Broad St., Newton Falls, Ohio 44444.
