Mary F. Sisson, 80 of Akron passed away at her son's residence on April 17, 2025, in Newton Falls. She was born in Akron on May 3, 1944; the daughter of the late Frank and Marie (Richards) Horak.

Mary retired from Dillards, and held other jobs throughout her lifetime, most notable was raising her family. While she had many interests early in life, like golfing and skiing, her later time was centered around her grandchildren.

She is survived by her two son's; Greg Sisson of Hamburg, Germany and Kevin (Laura) Sisson of Newton Falls; one sister, Barbara McDivitt of Akron and one brother, Mike (Carol) Horak of Stow; seven grandchildren; Salomea, Joshua and James Sisson(Greg), Savanna Sisson(Kevin) and Brittany, Baylee and Bryce Jarvis(Janelle), as well as 2 great-grandchildren, Theo (Baylee) and Gianna (Brittany).

She was preceded in death by her parents, two daughters; Janelle and Francis and one son, James.

To honor Mary's wishes, no calling hours or services will be held and cremation will take place.
