Mary Ann Kiwala age 93 of Newton Falls passed away peacefully into eternal life on Friday Nov. 25, 2011at the Assumption Village Nursing Home in North Lima, OH. Mary Ann was born on February 11, 1918 in Dunbar Twp., PA the daughter of the late George Geletko & Mary (Yankovich) Geletko. She married George W. Kiwala on June 21, 1952 and they enjoyed 32 years of marriage together before he passed away on August 25, 1984. Mary has lived in Newton Falls for 59 years formerly of Connellsville, PA. She worked as a bookkeeper for US Steel in Connellsville, PA for 17 years retiring in 1952, and was a member of the St. Mary & Joseph Catholic Church in Newton Falls for many years. Memories of Mary will be carried on by her loving family; her caregivers, niece & nephew-in-law Barbara & Frank Erbe of Newton Falls; a brother George R. Geletko of Connellsville, PA and several nieces & nephews. Mary is preceded in death by her mother and father, one sister Irene V. Bordas, and one brother Paul J. Geletko. There will be no calling hours. Funeral services will be at the St. Mary & Joseph's Church in Newton Falls at 10:30 am on Monday Nov. 28, 2011. Mary will be laid to rest next to her husband, George in St. Joseph's Cemetery in Newton Falls.
