Mary Lewis, age 88 of Newton Falls, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, January 6, 2013 at Trumbull Memorial Hospital. Mary was born in Lake Milton on December 25, 1924, the daughter of Adam and Mary (Earl) Spell. Mary was a devoted housewife to her husband and children. Mary married Leonard Lewis on June 6, 1953. They were married for 36 years before his passing on February 20, 1990. She was a member of the Moose Lodge in Warren, the VFW 3332, American Legion Post 231 and Army & Navy Garrison in Newton Falls. Loving memories of Mary will be carried on by her daughters, Linda Janik of Newton Falls, Susan Whisonant of Warren, Bonnie Dally of Newton Falls, her sister, Irene Zampino of Newton Falls, her brother, James Spell of Warren, 12 grandchildren, 45 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren. Mary was preceeded in death by her husband, 4 sisters, 5 brothers, 2 grandsons, a granddaughter and a great great granddaughter. Calling hours will be held on Thursday, January 10, 2013 from 6:00 - 8:00 pm at James Funeral Home. Funeral services will take place on Friday at 10:30 am at the funeral home.
