Maryann Wanless age 76 of Youngstown passed away peacefully into eternal rest on Sunday Sept. 3, 2023.  She was born on March 5, 1947 in Youngstown, OH the daughter of the late Elmer VanDyke and Mary (Brennan) VanDyke.  Maryann had lived in Youngstown for most of her life, and graduated from Boardman High School in the Class of 1967.  She married the love of her life, Perry Michael Wanless on Oct. 27, 1990 and they enjoyed 24 years of marriage together until his death on Feb. 27, 2015.  Maryann is preceded in death by her parents, and 1 brother: Richard VanDyke.

She is survived by: 1 daughter: Melissa Alexander and her fiancé ( Eddie Molina) of Columbiana, OH, 2 grandchildren: Kylia & Anthony Washington and Chelsea Alexander.

Funeral services will be at the James Funeral Home in Newton Falls on Thursday Sept. 7, 2023 at 12:00pm with Pastor Jennifer Dorn officiating.   Calling hours will be from 11:00am - 12:00pm.  She will be laid to rest beside her husband Perry at Hawley Cemetery in Paris Twp, OH.
