Marylon Rachel Kershner, age 84 of Lake Milton entered into eternal rest on Monday, October 17, 2011 at Laurie Ann Nursing Home in Newton Falls of natural causes. On May 29, 1927 in Newton Falls, George & Maggie (Feddie) Heckathorn were blessed with the birth of their daughter, Marylon. She moved to Lake Milton in 1972 from Newton Falls. Marylon was a 30 year member of the Pricetown United Methodist Church. She enjoyed spending time with her family, going out to eat, crossword puzzles, crocheting, ceramics and watching television. Loving memories of Marylon will be carried on by her daughters, Susan Gordon of Newton Falls, Paulette (Dalton) Hurley of Berlin Center, Alicia (Joseph) Paulsey of Chagrin Falls, her son, George (Barb) Myers of Newton Falls, 10 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and 2 great great-grandchildren. Marylon was preceeded in death by her husbands, Ralph Leroy Myers whom she married December 31, 1943 and passed away on June 2, 1993 and her second husband, Alton E. Kershner whom she married on January 1, 1969 and passed away on March 2, 1985, three sisters and seven brothers. Calling hours will be held on Thursday, October 20, 2011 from 6:00 - 9:00 pm at James Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Friday at 11:00 am at the funeral home. Pastor Gordon Ferguson will officiate. Marylon will be laid to rest next to her husband, Alton in Newton Falls Cemetery.
