Michelle Ruth Bailey, age 57, of Newton Falls passed away peacefully into eternal rest on Monday, August 1, 2016 at Laurie Ann Nursing Home after a 5 year battle with ovarian cancer. She was born on November 1, 1958, the daughter of the late Michael Joseph & Ruth Evelyn (Conti) Nemet. Michelle had lived all her life in Newton Falls working in the fiscal department at Meridian Community Healthcare for over 18 years. She was a member of St. Mary & St. Joseph Church and the St. Joseph Ladies Guild. Michelle enjoyed going to mountaineer, reading, shopping, crocheting, playing bingo and going to her book club. Memories of Michelle will be carried on by her loving family; her daughter Shannon Bailey of Austintown; her son Ronald Bailey of Newton Falls; and her brothers Michael & Margo Nemet, John & Debbie Nemet all of Newton Falls. Michelle is preceded in death by her parents, one sister Debbie Stull, and one brother Jeff Nemet. Per Michelle's wishes, Cremation has taken place. Calling hours will be held on Thursday, August 4, 2016 from 9:00- 10:00AM at the James Funeral Home in Newton Falls. A Memorial service will follow at the St. Mary & St. Joseph Church in Newton Falls at 10:30AM. Michelle will be laid to rest at St. Joseph Cemetery in Newton Falls.
