Mike Frank Choleva, age 64 of Cortland, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, March 4, 2017 at Trumbull Memorial Hospital surrounded by his loving family. Mike was born on December 21, 1952 in Warren the son of the late John & Jennie (Sidley) Choleva. Mike married the former Victoria Ann "Vikki" James on January 12, 1980. Mike and Vikki have been blessed with 37 wonderful years of marriage. Mike was a track superintendent and heavy equipment operator for Rail Corp. Mike was a veteran of the US Marine Corps serving during Vietnam. Mike enjoyed fishing, taking care of his yard work and spending time outside with his family. Loving memories of Mike will be carried on by his wife Victoria "Vikki" Choleva of Cortland, sons Mike (Kim) Choleva of Wadsworth, Jonathan (Marie) Choleva of Cortland, sister Marianna Jones of Paris Twp., brothers John Choleva of Lordstown, Dennis Choleva of Lordstown, Alan Choleva of Cleveland, grandchildren, Ripley, Nicole, Kailyn, Jasmine, Mikayla, Jessie and the (Darn) cat, Sparky. Mike was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Timmy Choleva. Calling hours will be held on Friday, March 10, 2017 from 5:00 - 8:00 pm at James Funeral Home.
