Mildred N. Soos, age 92 of Milton Twp. entered into eternal rest on Sunday, February 6, 2011 at her residence. On July 14, 1918 in Akron, Gaille & Mary (Thompson) Sickle were blessed with the birth of their daughter, Mildred. She has lived in the Milton Twp. area her entire life. On February 4, 1937, Mildred was joined in marriage to Stephen Ray Soos. Mildred and Stephen were married 49 wonderful years before his passing on August 12, 1986. Mildred was a member of the First Church of God in Newton Falls. She loved to cook, sew and garden but most of all she loved the holidays with her family. Loving memories of Mildred will be carried on by her daughters & sons-in-law, Janet & Oval Ray Badgett of Newton Falls, Carole & Charles Williams of Newton Falls, her son & daughter-in-law, Wayne & Cynthia Soos of Newton Falls, sisters & brothers-in-law, Lucille & Robert Goynes of Lake Milton, Etta & Norman Jones of Lake Milton, grandchildren, Steve Badgett, Laurel Novotny, Tammy Jorgensen, Rodney Badgett, Lisa Donaldson, Jody Martin, Kelly Glenn and 8 great-grandchildren. Mildred was preceeded in death by her husband, Stephen, sisters, Audrey Cain, Betty Hughes, Doris Holecko and brothers, Glen & Donald Sickle. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, February 8, 2011 from 5:00 - 7:00 pm at James Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 10:00 am at the funeral home. Mildred will be laid to rest next to her husband in Newton Falls Cemetery.
