Obituary

Milton D. Gaskell age 81 of Newton Falls passed away peacefully into eternal rest on Saturday May 10, 2025 at his residence. He was born on Jan. 17, 1944 in North Canton, OH the son of the late Milton J. Gaskell and Emma Mae (Stoner) Gaskell.  Milton has lived in Newton Falls since 1967, formerly of Windham where he graduated from Windham High School in the Class of 1962. After high school, he served in the US Air Force during the Vietnam War from 1962- 1964.  He married the love of his life, Karen Louise Wilson on July 21, 1967 and they have enjoyed the past 57 years of marriage together until her death on Dec. 13, 2024. Milton worked as a material handler at General Motors in Lordstown for 32 years retiring in 1998.  He was a member of the Garrettsville Masonic Lodge #246 for many years. Milton loved hunting, fishing, gardening, watching sports, and riding his exercise bike. He is preceded  in death by his parents, his wife Karen, 1 daughter: Tanya Gaskell, and 1 sister: Irene Dalrymple.

Milton is survived by: 1 son: Gregory Gaskell of Youngwood, PA, 1 brother: Benjamin & Rebecca Gaskell of Windham, OH, and 4 grandchildren: Steven, Alicia, Eric and Ciarra.

Cremation has taken place, and there will be no services.
