Minnerva M. Thomas, age 80 of Newton Falls passed into eternal life on Monday, November 5, 2012 at Cleveland Clinic of natural causes. On January 31, 1932, in Adrian,PA, Kenneth Orr & Margaret Alene (Toy) Wolfe were blessed with the birth of daughter, Minnerva. Minnerva married the love of her life, James B. Thomas, on April 7, 1952 and they enjoyed 60 years of marriage together. Minnerva was a member of the Newton Falls United Methodist Church. She was the treasurer of the Trumbull County Cystic Fibrosis Foundation for over 40 years. Minnerva enjoyed bowling in area bowling leagues. Memories of Minnerva will be carried on by his loving family; her husband James B. Thomas of Newton Falls; her 2 sons Douglas Lee Thomas of Killeen,TX, David James Thomas of Newton Falls; her sister & husband Peggy & William Pollock of Southgate,MI; and her brother & wife Paul & Beth Wolfe of Butler, PA. Minnerva was preceeded in death by her daughter Stacy Lynn Thomas, her sisters Blanch Wolfe, Dorothy Grover, and her brother George Wolfe. Calling hours will be on Thursday, November 8, 2012 at James Funeral Home in Newton Falls from 5:00 to 7:00PM and 1hour prior to services time from 10:00 to 11:00AM on Friday at the church. Funeral Services will be at the Newton Falls United Methodist Church on Friday, November 9, 2012 at 11:00AM. Pastor Gordon Ferguson will be officiating. Minerva will be laid to rest at Newton Falls Cemetery.
