Minnie M. Gaston age 73 of Newton Falls passed away peacefully into eternal rest on Oct. 26, 2011 at 5: 15 pm at Community Skilled Nursing Home in Warren of natural causes. She was born on July 28, 1938 in Logan, OH the daughter of the late Lester and Ruth Miller. Minnie has lived in Newton Falls since 1981, formerly of Lordstown and Brookville, PA. She married the love of her life, Glenn I. Gaston on August 13, 1960, and they have enjoyed 51 years of marriage together. Minnie was a stay at home mother, and she loved reading , crocheting, and gardening around the house. She was a devoted mother and wife and loved spending time with her family. Minnie is preceded in death by her parents, one brother Art Miller, and one sister Carol Price. Memories of Minnie will be carried on by her loving family: daughters: Kathryn Verbosky of Newton Falls, Glenda & Brian Gerber of Newton Falls, son: Martin & Marina Gaston of El Paso, TX, sister: Betty Schilling of Baltimore, OH, and 7 grandchildren. As per Minnie's wishes, cremation has taken place, and a memorial service for her will be at the James Funeral Home in Newton Falls on Saturday Oct 29, 2011from 3 - 5pm. A funeral will then be held at 5:00 pm with Pastor Steve Ritter officiating. Minnie has struggled with Diabetes for many years and the family has requested that in lieu of flowers, all donations to go to the American Diabetes Association Akron Ohio Office 1815 West Market Street Suite 108 Akron, OH 44313 in her memory.
