Myrtle S. Fenton, age 97 of Newton Falls passed away peacefully on Wednesday morning August 8, 2012 at 6:06am at Laurie Ann Nursing Home in Newton Falls. She was born on March 30, 1915 in Lake Milton, OH the daughter of the late Raymond Helsel & Gertrude (Porter) Helsel. She married the love of her life, Wilbur F. Fenton on June 24, 1936 in Grove City, PA and they enjoyed 42 blessed years of marriage together before he passed away on October 14, 1978. Myrtle attended the Lake Milton Baptist Church. She enjoyed spending time in her flower garden and working in her yard. Myrtle is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Wilbur and her 3 sisters Ruthdea Johns, Doris Cowell and Freda Linden. Memories of Myrtle will be carried on by her loving family; her son Norman F. Fenton of Newton Falls; her 2 grandchildren Sherry & her husband Bill Burnside, and Connie Allcorn all of Newton Falls; her 3 great-grandchildren David, Nicholas & Tyler Reed all of Newton Falls; her 2 great-great gradchildren Konner & Lucas Reed both of Newton Falls. Calling hours will be held at the Lake Milton Baptist Temple on Saturday August 11, 2012 from 10:00 - 11:00 am and the funeral service will be held immediately following at 11:00 am. Pastor Aaron Dowler will be officiating the service. Myrtle will be laid to rest next to her husband Wilbur at Jackson Twp. Cemetery in North Jackson.
