Nancy Agnes Genchur of Newton Falls passed away peacefully on Saturday August 27, 2011 at the University Hospital in Cleveland. She was born on March 27, 1935 in Coaldale, PA the daughter of the late George Joseph and Helen Marie (Jacobs) Dallas. She grew up in Tamaqua Pa where she graduated High School, then she came to Newton Falls in 1952. She married her loving husband Raymond Genchur on June 2, 1956 and had enjoyed 45 years together before his passing on January 7, 2001. Nancy and Ray ran their family business Genchur's Sunoco in Newton Falls for many years. Later she worked for Save- A- Lot until March of this year. Nancy was a member of St. Mary's and Joseph Catholic Church in Newton Falls. She loved passing her time watching old TV shows like Columbo, shopping, horse races, the lottery and going to the casinos. But most of all she loved her grandchildren. Memories of Nancy will be treasured by her loving family: a daughter and son-in-law: Valerie M. and Charles Becker of Stow OH. one son:James M. Genchur of Mooresville, NC. Three grandsons: Matthew,Ryan and Zachary Rundle and Michael Genchur, a granddaughter Kaitlin Doutt, 2 Brothers: Donald Dallas of Warren, OH , and a brother and sister-in-law Richard and Dianna Dallas of Cortland, OH, her cousin Shirley Lechner of Warren and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death her parents, her husband Ray and a brother Robert Dallas. The family will receive friends from 6-9 pm on Monday Aug. 29, 2011 at the James Funeral Home in Newton Falls, where a prayer service will be held at 9:30 am Tuesday. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 am Tuesday at St. Mary & Joseph Catholic Church in Newton Falls with father Donald Feicht as the celebrant. Nancy will be laid to rest next to her husband Raymond at St Joseph Cemetery in Newton Falls.
