Nancy C. Johnson, age 66 of Warren entered into eternal rest on Sunday, January 2, 2011 at Trumbull Memorial Hospital. Nancy was born in Warren on Mother's Day, May 14, 1944, the daughter of David & Inez (Abrams) Jones. She was the first daughter born on both sides of the family in 20 years, the same day her brother David landed in Guam, WWII. Nancy has lived in Warren for most of her life, formerly of Lordstown where she graduated from Lordstown High School in 1962. Nancy married William L. Johnson on January 8, 1965 and they have been married for 45 wonderful years. Nancy retired from Hodge Electric in Warren where she was a secretary for over 20 years. She was a member of the Tod Ave. United Methodist Church. Nancy enjoyed taking care of her family and grandchildren, scrapbooking, gardening and watching television. Loving memories of Nancy will be carried on by her husband, William L. Johnson of Warren, her daughter & son-in-law, Deanna & Steven Meier of Mentor, her sons & daughters-in-law, Eric & Shelley Johnson of Braceville, Brian & Heather Johnson of Cordova, TN, her sister & brother-in-law, Sarah & James Bragger of Champion, her brothers & sisters-in-law, William & Ann Jones of Niles, Donald & Janice Jones of Howland and four grandchildren, Caleb Johnson, Alex Meier, Sarah Meier and Brison Johnson and many nieces and nephews. Nancy was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, David F. & Terry R. Jones. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 5, 2011 from 6:00 - 8:00 pm at James Funeral Home where funeral services will take place on Thursday at 11:00 am. Rev. Drew McPeek will officiate. Nancy will be laid to rest in Hawley Cemetery.
