Nellie Marie Welsch, age 73, of Paris Twp, Ohio passed peacefully into eternal life on December 10, 2012 in Orlando, FL with her family by her side. She was born on February 19, 1939 in Reesdale, PA the daughter of the late Truman & Alverta (Nicewonger) Longenecker. Nellie married the love of her life, Lloyd T.(Sonny) Welsch on September 30, 1958 and they enjoyed 46 blessed years of marriage together before he passed away on January 6, 2005. She worked at Westfall's for over 18 years and was a member of the Lakeview Assembly of God. Nellie enjoyed playing cards, traveling to Florida and spending time with her grandchildren. Memories of Nellie will be carried on by her loving family; her sons Mike & Tom Welsch; her sisters Margaret Lute, Helen Pasqualini, Virginia Obrecht and Mary Morgan; her brothers Robert Longenecker, and Samuel Longenecker; her grandchildren Nicholas, Jennifer, Bridget, and Alaina. Nellie is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Sonny, 2 brothers Ernest & Edward Longenecker, 1 sister Ruth Pajewski, and 1 granddaughter Katelyn Welsch. Graveside services are at Hawley Cemetery in Paris Twp., on July 20, 2013 at 2:00 PM. Pastor Thomas Bell will be officiating. Nellie will be laid to rest by her husband.
