Nicholas J. Kaczur, age 65 of Newton Falls entered into eternal rest on Saturday, September 17, 2011 at Trumbull Memorial Hospital. On June 15, 1946 in Cleveland, Nicholas Z. & Anne Kaczur were blessed with the birth of their son, Nicholas. He has lived in Newton Falls for the past 35 years, formerly of Cleveland. Nicholas married the former Dolores C. Freas on June 8, 1974. Dolores passed away on October 4, 1992 after 18 years of marriage. He was a veteran of the US Navy serving from 1964 - 1968. He was stationed aboard the USS Wasp Aircraft Carrier. Nicholas retired in 2008 after 38 years as an auto worker at General Motors in Lordstown. He was a member of St. Mary & Joseph Church in Newton Falls and he was a Master Gardener. Loving memories of Nicholas will be carried on by his daughter & son-in-law, Erin & Ramsay Hodgkinson of Kettering, his son & daughter-in-law, Jonathan & Melissa Kaczur of Centerville, grandchildren, Colin, Stacia, Kathleen, Samantha, his sister, Adella Cavell of Cleveland and his brother & sister-in-law, Richard & Sandy Kaczur of Kerrville, TX. Nicholas was preceeded in death by his wife, Dolores and his parents. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, September 21, 2011 from 6:00 - 8:00 pm at James Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 10:00 am at the funeral home. Nicholas will be laid to rest next to his wife at All Souls Cemetery in Chardon.
