BRACEVILLE Nicholas Anthony Veltri Jr., 77 of Braceville entered into eternal rest on Friday, February 13, 2015 at the Cleveland Clinic. Nicholas was born on March 16, 1937 in Hubbard, the son of Nicholas & Ethel (Brown) Veltri Sr. He has lived in Braceville for the past 2 1/2 years, formerly of Chester, NY and St. Petersburg, FL. Nicholas married the former Dorothy DeHass on September 18, 1981. They were blessed with 30 years of marriage before her passing on October 8, 2011. He was employed as a bread inspector for Schwebels Bakery in Youngstown. He was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Youngstown. He enjoyed playing softball in his younger years and enjoyed camping, fishing and bowling. Loving memories of Nicholas will be carried on by his daughter, Shirley (Daniel) Morris of Braceville, stepdaughters, Dodie (John) Madigan of Cuyahoga Falls, Robin DeHass of N.C., sons, Nicholas (Kim) Veltri III of Chester, NY, Randall (Marlynn) Veltri of Germany, Bill Veltri of Iowa, foster son, Ronnie (Dawn) Martin of McDonald, sister, Andrane Veltri of OH, 16 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Nicholas was preceded in death by his stepson, Tom DeHass and his brother, Chuck Veltri. Calling hours will be held on Monday, February 16, 2015 from 3:00 - 5:00 pm at James Funeral Home where the funeral service will immediately follow at 5:00 pm. Nicholas will be entombed at Cornerstone Community Church Columbarium in St Petersburg, Florida.
