Norman Paul Jones 92 of Lake Milton entered into eternal rest on Sunday, November 9th 2014 at Hospice House of Poland with his loving family by his side. Norman was born on July 8,1922 in Palmyra Twp. the son of Albert and Flora Ethel (Campbell) Jones. Norman lived all his life in the Lake Milton Palmyra Township area, only leaving to serve his country in the US Army. Norman married his loving wife Etta Izetta Sickle on September 8, 1942. Norman and Etta were blessed with 71 years of marriage. He worked as a pattern maker for Diamond Pattern shop and later Rankin Pattern shop in Ravenna until he retired in 1984. He was a member of the Lake Milton Presbyterian Church and the Deerfield American Legion. Norman liked woodworking, gardening but most of all his grandchildren. Loving memories of Norman will be carried on by his daughters, Loretta Elaine Bunny Ratliff of Austintown, Karen Sue (Russell) Davis of Lawrenceburg, IN, Kathy Lee (Michael) Reinhart of Diamond, Mary Lou (Jon) Hitesman of Austintown, sons, Thomas David (Donna) Jones of Diamond, David Paul (Lorraine) Jones of Lordstown, 15 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. He was preceded in death by three sisters, Mildred Adams, Myra Puhalsky and Frances Miller. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday from 6:00 - 8:00 pm at James Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday November 12, 2014 at 11:00 am at the funeral home. Norman will be laid to rest beside his wife Etta at Palmyra West Cemetery.
