Norman Lee McFadden, 73 formerly of Newton Falls, passed away peacefully into eternal rest on Friday January 17, 2014 at Hospice of the Valley Hospice House in Poland, Ohio, surrounded by his children. Norman was born February 13, 1940 in Warren and is the son of the late Raymond Lee McFadden and Mildred Matilda Denhart. Norman lived in Newton Falls for nearly 60 years before moving to Warren. Norman is a graduate of Newton Falls High School class of 1958 and attended ITT Tech pursuing his passion of auto mechanics. He worked for Standard Oil, acquired by BP, for 42 years. Norman enjoyed being outdoors, woodworking, bowling, working on cars, and playing in a band, The Embers, where he played bass guitar. Loving memories of Norman will be carried on by Mary McFadden, his wife of 20 years; his children; Christine (Robert) Freche of Merritt Island, FL, Carol (Craig) Griffith of Chambersburg, PA; Ray (Michelle) McFadden of Youngstown, OH; and Bridget McFadden of Ohio; his family; Lea Rae, Richard and Danny Bunch, Ronnie Lee McFadden, Robin Myers; 5 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Ronald Gilbert McFadden and sister, Florence Elaine Clover. Calling hours will be held on Monday, January 20, 2014 from 6:00 - 8:00 pm at James Funeral Home in Newton Falls. Funeral services will be on Tuesday at 11:00 am at the funeral home.
