Pamela Joyce Eddie (aka Aunt Sissy), age 56, of Newton Falls, passed away peacefully into eternal life on Saturday, September 24, 2016 at her home. She was born on September 27, 1959, in Warren, Ohio, the daughter of the late Andrew & Letta Jo (McKnight) Zombar. Pamela married the love of her life, Curtis Dean Eddie on June 25, 1983 and they enjoyed 33 years of marriage together. She was a housewife and had lived in the Newton Falls area since her marriage. Pamela was a member of the First Federated Church in North Jackson. She enjoyed sewing, being with her cats, and spending time with her children and her many nieces and nephews. Memories of Pamela will be carried on by her loving family; her husband Curtis Dean Eddie of Newton Falls; her daughter Amanda Eddie of Newton Falls; her son Christopher Eddie of Pittsburgh, PA; 2 brothers Jeffrey & Sheila Zombar of North Bloomfield; Timothy & Jacqulie Zombar of Cortland; and many nieces & nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents. Calling hours will be held at the James Funeral Home in Newton Falls on Wednesday, September 28, 2016 from 6:00 to 8:00PM. Funeral Services will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, September 29, 2016 at 10:30AM with Pastor Jack Acri officiating. Pamela will be laid to rest at Hillside Cemetery in Cortland, OH.
