Patricia Ann Crawford age 78 of Garrettsville passed away peacefully into eternal rest on Thursday Aug. 25, 2022 at University Hospital Portage Medical Center in Ravenna, OH.   She was born on April 13, 1944 in Cleveland, OH the daughter of the late Daniel Demetzky and Ann Marie (Smelko) Demetzky.  Patricia has lived in Garrettsville for the past 8 years, formerly of Deersville, OH.  She attended St. Wendelin & East High in Cleveland.  Patricia worked as a Nurses Aid/ factory worker and at Capricia Creations & Geauga Hospital as a supply worker until she was injured on the job many years ago and has been disabled for most of her life. Patricia attended the St. Edward & St. Lucy Catholic Church in Parkman, OH.  She loved reading, and to watch horror/thriller movies, and court TV shows.  Her great grandchildren gave her the most joy. Patricia was a great listener and gave great advice. Patricia is preceded in death by her parents, 2 daughters: Valerie & Lorraine Crawford, 2 brothers: Danny & Donny Demetzky, and one grandson, Kyle Carter.   She is survived by: 1 daughter: Christine Carter of Newton Falls, 1 son: Thomas Crawford and his fiancé Lucinda Bosh of Garrettsville, OH, 1 sister: Donna & Harry Ward of North Olmstead, OH, 1 brother: Eddie & Tazuko Demetzky of Atlanta, GA; 3 grandchildren: Michelle Crawford, Stacy & Kari Carter, and 3 great grandchildren: Nicholas, Summer and Christopher Carter.   Cremation has taken place, and there will be no services.     Arrangements have been entrusted to the James Funeral Home, 8 East Broad Street, Newton Falls, OH 44444 (330)872-5440.  Family and friends may view her obituary online or to send condolences, please visit us at www.jamesfuneralhomeinc.com
