Paul Lars Emery age 47 of Southington, OH passed away Tuesday December 6, 2011 at St. Joseph Eastland Hospital after a brave fight with cancer. Paul was born July 26, 1964 in Warren, OH the son of Irma K. Vogel and the late William F. Emery. Always willing to help friends and family without hesitation, Paul was a dedicated and caring man to all who knew him. Personally, Paul enjoyed his 2 huskies, King and Shadow and "the best of the bunch" mutt J.D. His interest in Harley Davidson motorcycles recently took him to Daytona's Biketoberfest in Florida. Paul enjoyed a good game of chess and usually surprised his challengers with his knowledge of the game. A hard worker, Paul held various jobs during his lifetime until his illness forced him to slow down. Early in his career working for Bob's Tree Service, he learned all aspects of tree care. Later, Paul worked for a landscape company where he was affectionately know as "the tree man". Paul liked the freedom of the road - driving truck he covered many routes for various companies around this area. A 1982 graduate of Trumbull County Joint Vocational School he earned a state and local degree in AG mechanics. Paul also obtained a CDL certification through the State of Ohio. Paul is survived by his cherished girlfriend: Holly Taylor with whom he resided, his mother Irma K. Vogel and step- father Art Vogel of Zephyrhills, FL, sisters: Jeanine L. Emery and husband Ron Gordon of Champion and Barbara Kovach of Williamsfield, step brother: John & Kathy Vogel of MI, nieces and nephews: Angela, Victoria, Tyler, Michael, Amanda, Jimmy, and Alex, his loving Aunt IIma and cousin Richard. Paul was preceded in death by his father William F. Emery, and step brother Gary Vogel. As per Paul's request, there will be no services and cremation has taken place.
