Paul G. Kritz age 86 of Newton Falls passed away peacefully into eternal rest on Saturday April 18, 2026 at the Armstrong Memory Care Assisted Living Home in Champion. He was born on Aug. 24, 1939 in Johnstown, PA the son of the late Jacob Kritz and Sue (Civic) Kritz. Paul lived in Newton Twp since 1969, formerly of Johnstown, PA. He married the love of his life, Scarlet Jean Vignero on Aug. 12, 1961 and they enjoyed 56 years of marriage together until her death on May 31, 2018. Paul worked as a Welding Operator at General Motors in Lordstown for 34 years retiring in 2001. He was a member of the St. Mary & St. Joseph Catholic Church in Newton Falls and the UAW Local # 1714. Paul loved working on cars, watching sports especially the Pittsburgh Steelers & Cleveland Indians, woodworking, and spending time with his family. He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife: Scarlet, 1 sister: Martha Vignero, and 2 brothers: Raymond & Robert Kritz.

Paul is survived by: 1 daughter: Pauline & Matthew Marsh of Lordstown, 1 son: Paul & Christine Kritz of Warren, 2 grandchildren: Jacob & Justin Kritz, and 2 great grandchildren: Lucas & Lillian Kritz.

Cremation has taken place, and there will be no services. He will be laid to rest with his wife Scarlet at Lordstown Cemetery. The family would like to thank the wonderful staff and Nurse Jessie at Armstrong Memory Care Assisted Living and Akeso Home Hospice for their compassion and excellent care they gave to Paul during this time.
