Paul Joseph Lago, age 74 of Newton Falls, passed away peacefully into eternal rest on Saturday May 1, 2010 at his residence surrounded by his loving family. Paul was born on February 14, 1936 in Lackawanna, NY, the son of Patrick & Louise (Douglas) Lago. Paul has lived in Newton Falls since 1957, formerly of New York where he graduated from St. Mary's Academy in 1953. Paul married the former Margaret Needler on October 5, 1957 and recently celebrated 52 years of marriage. Paul was a veteran of the US Army and US Air Force. He was a self-employed remodeler and pool installer. Paul enjoyed shooting pool, working puzzles, model airplanes and woodworking. Paul is survived by his wife, Margaret Lago of Newton Falls, daughter & son-in-law, Christy & Matthew Watson of Newton Falls, daughter & son-in-law, Renee & Bruce Dugic of Newton Falls, daughter, Andla Davis of Warren, son, Scott Lago of Newton Falls, son & daughter-in-law, Douglas & Cathy Lago of Lordstown, son & fiance, John Lago & Nicole Straighter of Newton Falls, 7 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Cremation has taken place according to Paul's wishes. There will be a "Celebration of Life" at Faces Cafe in Newton Falls, where family and friends will gather on Sunday May 16, 2010 from 1:00 to 4:00 pm to share stories and fond memories of Paul.
