Paul William Vacik Sr., 69 of Newton Falls passed away on Wednesday, October 21, 2026 at St. Joseph's in Warren. He was born in Chardon on May, 2, 1957; the son of the late Peter P. and Eleanor (Kramer) Vacik.

A lifetime area resident, Paul worked 30 plus years in various jobs for General Motors, retiring in Material Handling. Paul enjoyed anything with a motor; from cars to motorcycles. If anyone knew Paul; he was always looking the latest and greatest deal. It started with looking through the Autotrader magazine and then he was introduced to Facebook marketplace, where he would make his morning coffee and search those great deals first thing. The greatest accomplishment for Paul was his 27 years of sobriety, thanks to God and Alcohol Anonymous for his success.

He is survived by his wife; Laura A. (Johnson) Vacik whom he married on December 10, 1988. Also surviving him are his children; Robert (Cassandra) Packwood, Sabrinia Lausin, Paul (Beth) Vacik Jr., Samantha (Justin) Walker and Adam Vacik; his grandchildren; Tyler Newton, Hailey Newton Alex Lausin and Fredrick Walker

He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother Micheal Vacik and his first wife, Deborah Vacik.
