Pauline Bernice Eddie, age 84 of Pricetown passed away peacefully on Monday, December 9, 2013 at the Peggy Feathers Adult Care Home in Warren. She was born on August 5, 1929, in Detroit, Michigan, the daughter of the late Paul & Alma (Miller) Almburg. The family moved to their farm in Pricetown in 1936. Pauline graduated from Newton Falls High School in 1947 and then from Kent State University in 1952. She taught third grade at Tod Avenue School in Warren until the 1952-1953 school year. Pauline married her husband of 60 years, Ralph Merlin Eddie on June 20, 1953, after he was discharged from the Army. Pauline was a member of the First Federated Church in North Jackson and the Womens Farm Bureau. She was a day care teacher in Leavittsburg and also worked at Mary O' helping children with learning disabilities. Pauline loved cooking and going for walks in the woods with her dog. Memories of Pauline will be carried on by her loving family: her husband Ralph M. Eddie of Pricetown, two daughters Cheryl & Allen Deibel of Canfield, Dr. Dianne Eddie of Lordstown; two sons Curtis & Pam Eddie of Newton Falls, Martin & Teresa Eddie of Newton Falls; her 6 grandchildren Allen & Aura Deibel, Kyle & Ryan Eddie, Christopher & Amanda Eddie; her 4 great-grandchildren Caine, Lance, Brayden and Dylan. Pauline was preceded in death by her parents, and 1 brother Gordon Almburg. Calling hours will be held at the James Funeral Home in Newton Falls on Thursday, December 12, 2013 from 5:00 to 7:00pm. Funeral Services will be held at the funeral home on Friday, December 13, 2013 at 11:00am with Rev. Jack Acri officiating.
