Phyllis A.Knox age 89 of Warren, passed away on Monday, June 8, 2026 at Otterbein of Cortland. She was born on November 9, 1936 in Addison, Pennsylvania, the daughter of the late Naylor F. and Blanche M. (Brenneman) Glotfelty.

Phyllis worked for various companies through the years doing secretarial / clerical work. She is of Lutheran faith and was a member of the Lordstown Lutheran Church. On September 25, 1954, Phyllis married her husband, Donald D. Knox. Together they shared 71 years of marriage until his passing on December 28, 2025. Phyllis enjoyed quilting, sewing and playing the piano. Her greatest joy was her grandchildren and preparing meals for her family.

She is survived by her two children; Brenda (John) Lansdowne of East Palestine and Keith (Michelle) Knox of Lordstown; a brother, David (Jerry) Glotfelty of Addison, Pennsylvania; six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Donald; a sister Kathy Erickson and one brother Ed Glotfelty.

Funeral services will be held at 5:00PM on Saturday, June 20, 2026 at the Lordstown Lutheran Church, 5615 Palmyra Road, Warren, Ohio 44481. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Pastor Steve Brown will officiate. Following the services at the church, cremation will take place and she will be laid to rest along with her husband, Donald at Addison Cemetery in Addison, Pennsylvania.

The family requests that material contributions be made in Phyllis's name to the Lordstown Lutheran Church.
