Phyllis Ann Putnam, age 74 of Braceville Twp, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Sunday, October 21, 2012 at St. Joseph Eastland Hospital in Warren. She was born on July 6, 1938 in Warren, the daughter of the late Anna Marie (Ratkowski) Fickes. Phyllis married the love of her life, Harry Norman Putnam on Nov. 26, 1962 and he passed away after 34 years of marriage on June 26, 1996. She was a proud housewife, and raised 4 children in their home in Braceville Twp. Phyllis loved playing bingo, smoking, sewing, building doll houses, her animals, and was an avid bell collector in which she has over 300 of them. She is survived by her loving family of: 3 daughters: Darlene & Rodney Tackett of Warren, Carol & Richard Metzger of Leavittsburg, Norma Jean Kenney & her fiance' Scott Foy of BracevilleTwp, 1 son, Larry Norman Putnam of Niles, and 4 brothers., Phyllis was a loving grandmother and great grandmother to many. Phyllis is preceded in death by her parents. The family requests that all donations go to the St. Joseph's Eastland Hospital 647 Eastland Ave. Warren, OH 44484 in memory of Phyllis. Per Phyllis' wishes, cremation has taken place. Private services were held at Meadow Brook Memorial Park and Phyllis will be laid to rest beside her husband Harry (Norman) Putnam.
