Priscilla J. Gross age 84 of Palmyra Twp passed away peacefully into eternal rest on Wednesday July 30, 2025 at her home. She was born on December 6, 1940 in Mt. Pleasant, PA the daughter of the late Chester Louis Pitt  & Ruth (Lessman) Pitt.  Priscilla married the love of her life, Henry Clair Gross on September 9, 1961 and they enjoyed 63 years of marriage together. She had lived in Palmyra Twp. for 51 years formerly of Lake Milton.  Priscilla was a waitress for Pizza Hut in Ravenna for over 10 years.  She was a Mt. Pleasant High School graduate in the Class of 1958.  She enjoyed reading, doing crossword puzzles, watching all sports especially college sports, basketball, and her favorite football team was the Pittsburgh Steelers.  Priscilla took great joy in attending the kids and grandkids sporting events.

Memories of Priscilla will be carried on by her loving family; her husband Henry C. Gross of Palmyra Twp; her 2 daughters Gloria Lichty of Palmyra Twp, Cheryl & (Jerry) Wiseman of Lake Milton; her sister Patricia Lopes of Mt. Pleasant, PA; her brother Cary & (Gloria) Pitt of Canfield; her 6 grandchildren: Steven, Michael, Alexandra, Dannielle, Timothy, Rane & 18 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, 1 daughter Carolyn L. Gross, 1 brother William Pitt, and 1 granddaughter Rachel Lichty.

Funeral services will be at the James Funeral Home in Newton  Falls on Monday Aug 4, 2025 at 6:00pm with Pastor Jeff Griffs officiating.  Calling hours will be from 4:00pm - 6:00pm on Monday. Cremation will follow the service.  She will be laid to rest at Palmyra West Cemetery in Diamond.
